Intensive Outpatient Treatment Programs (IOP) are available for both addiction and mental health conditions. IOP is an excellent option for those who need more flexible treatment schedules due to family, work, or school. However, not everyone is appropriate for an IOP level of care and will require an assessment to review current conditions.

What to Expect in Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient treatment provides an individualized plan that includes individual therapy, group therapy, therapeutic homework, and experiential therapies. Depending on your specific interest, there are 12 step and non 12 step IOP options available. If you have to work or go to school, you will review your schedule with the treatment team to discuss what scheduling options will work best for you.
